February Salsa Workshop

SALSA WORKSHOP 2-4pm 

Come learn basic fundamentals, rhythm, flow, turn patterns, improve your technique and refine your styling. 

Add more excitement to your dancing and learn combinations with high energy and precision. This will be with a challenging but rewarding exercise experience.

Please be sure to wear comfortable clothing and appropriate dance shoes!

Social Ballroom Dance Class and Party

Social ballroom dance class is designed to teach the individual the necessary skills to feel confident on the dance floor. Each week we will focus on one of the 6 major dances: Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Cha Cha, Rumba, or Swing. Classes will cover the essential elements of dance, basic turns and techniques.

Our social ballroom dance party will start immediately after the class from 8:00-9:30pm. Come and enjoy our relaxed social atmosphere while you gain confidence and improve your dancing skills. What a great way get fit, meet new people and have fun! No prior experience or partner necessary.

The social ballroom dance party is a great opportunity to try out ballroom dancing or invite friends who have expressed an interest in learning to ballroom dance. Join us every Tuesday at 7:00pm for social ballroom dance class and at 8:00-9:30pm for the social ballroom dance party. We look forward to seeing you on the dance floor!!!

Welcome to Lets Dance!

Lets Dance is the "Premiere Dance Studio of Myrtle Beach".  We teach all styles of Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Nightclub and First Dance Wedding Choreography.  Our studio offers private lessons, group classes, and speciality workshops.  Lets Dance instructors are experienced teachers, skilled in working with both beginners and advanced dancers.

Our goal at Lets Dance is to provide a relaxed, comfortable, fun atmosphere for people to learn how to dance, refine their dance skills, and socialize with friends who enjoy the same hobby at our social dance parties and special events.

Latin Dance Lessons

Come out and join us every Tuesday at 7:00pm for Latin Dance Class.  Our fabulous instructor Robert Rodgers teaches a variety of latin dance styles.  You can learn how to Salsa, Merengue, Bachata or Cha Cha.  All of these styles are regularly danced at local nightclubs here in Myrtle Beach.  Many of our students get together and go out dancing around town throughout the week.  Everyone has a great time dancing and practicing new moves learned in class.  Come out and try a class.  You will be sure to have lots of fun as well as meet new friends who share a passion for Latin Dance.

Learning to Ballroom Dance

Learning to ballroom dance is fun and it is easy.  In a sense it is like learning a new language, a language in which moods and emotions are expressed in movement; a language of rhythm, grace and harmony.  It is new, but in a very real sense it is the oldest language in the world, for dancing is the oldest form of art.

Ballroom dancing is a wholesome, natural outlet for the emotions.  It develops grace and poise, timing and balance.  Men take pride in their ability to lead their partners with assurance and poise.  Ladies enjoy the ability to follow their partners smoothly, expertly and correctly. 

The ability to dance develops personality, and above all it is fun.  Taking ballroom dance lessons is a great way to improve your confidence, it is a way to get fit and have lots of fun!

West Coast Swing Dance Lessons

Join us every Wednesday at 7:00pm for West Coast Swing dance class taught by our wonderful instructor Davis Canady Jr.

West Coast Swing is a style of Swing that can be danced to a wide variety of music speeds and styles (contemporary, soul, R&B, rock, country, jazz, blues, you name it!). It is often considered smoother and more sensuous than other styles of swing. 

Though it takes a bit more effort to learn the basics, it is more independently creative, especially as one becomes more advanced.
